The History of The Killara West Pymble Rugby Club

Killara West Pymble Rugby Club is a family orientated club that is based at Lofberg Oval, West Pymble. The club was formed in 1981 with the merging of two clubs, the Killara Rugby Club and the West Pymble Raiders. In it's first season, the new club contested in 3 grades, reaching the semi finals in second grade.

The club tasted success in only it's third season, winning the grand final in the Grose Cup in fourth grade with a win over Merrylands. Since then, KWP have won numerous tournaments and have always striven to play rugby in a positive and competitive spirit.

If you are interested in playing with the club, we have training at Lofberg Oval at 6.30pm on Mondays and Wednesday nights, or if you would just like to come down to watch a few games during the season at Lofberg Oval, you are more than welcome. Please check the calender page of this site to see when the next home game is.
